Craniofacial orthodontics is a subspecialty of orthodontics.  Dr. Maull has completed a surgical orthodontic fellowship which provides advanced training in the treatment of patients born with cleft lip/palate and congenital facial anomalies, as well as facial differences as a result of trauma and jaw growth discrepancies.

Dr. Maull works as part of a team at the Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children Craniofacial Program.  The team includes specialists in reconstructive surgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery, otolaryngology, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, audiology, speech, genetics, and nursing.  This is a tremendous resource for those patients requiring more complex, multidisciplinary treatment.
